The garden surrounds the villa with plants and flowers in every corner. The lower garden is landscaped with palm trees and local stone. Hidden corners offer many places to relax throughout the garden and terraces. Even with the local winds blowing, at Er Djebel you can always find a sheltered spot. A fully equipped barbecue is provided for al-fresco dining. A small unheated pool in the garden overlooks the sea. A tiled terrace area extends to the beach steps. The pool room contains pool toys and sunbeds.

A short path down from the garden leads through trees down to the huge golden beach that stretches all the way to Barbate; there is plenty of room for everyone. The sand is rearranged every tide and sometimes exotic shells wash up on the shoreline.

At weekends and holidays, night fishermen position themselves along the beach and their lights twinkle until dawn. The huge concrete bunker at the tip of Cabo Plata has withstood the pounding waves for nearly 100 years; the Atlantic Ocean can be rough and intimidating but also gentle and calm, and sometimes quite large fish come close to the shore, however, the pool is always there for a quick dip.
